True Roleplay has operated since 2007 and runs on a unique script that is unlike any other of the 1000's of GF edits. Patches and new features are added regularly without server restarts, reducing disruption of your game time. Under scores in names? Visible health bars? Name tags visible from 5 miles away? You won't find any of this on True Roleplay. We strive for realism and aim to continue to do so. We also have bespoke, unique scripts, such as 'The Drag System', which enables you to /drag the body of an incapacitated player, also not to mention our formidable selection of animations for you to choose from!

Only on True roleplay, for new players, there is a tutorial mall. In the mall new players are able to learn the essential and fundamental commands and skills to progress on True Roleplay. There is a bank where you can learn to deposit and withdraw money. A 24/7 store where you can purchase items such as lottery tickets, gas cans and logs for campfires.
At True Roleplay, we believe you didn't enter the world at 20 years of age with no possessions. We understand it's important to provide new players with a start up package, such as a free apartment, and even a free budget vehicle to ensure you are ready to roleplay!

THE ECONOMY
The economy here at True Roleplay is monitored and controlled by the servers script. In total, there is 500 million dollars on the server which flows around in a circle between players, businesses and the government. All money is 'In Character' and any money that does enter via 'Out of Character' methods is accounted.
We believe it can be quite hard to become very rich on True Roleplay, so it could take some time before you can buy everything you want. However, people will find that this is a good challenge and it should provide you with solid motivation and interest to progress on the server for a long time. There is an abundance of desirable items such as properties, accessories, businesses, vehicles and more, at your fingertips to spend your hard earned money on, so you won't find yourself sitting on your savings forever!
Despite the difficulties, it is quite easy for a new player to get their basic items and have a little bit of wealth from the beginning if they put the effort in. There are small jobs around town such as fishing, road sweeping and lawn mowing which are funded by the government, and we are currently aiming to incorporate a lot more civilian jobs in the near future. Also, many other players are friendly to newcomers and are happy to hire them as workers in bars, restaurants, clubs, or even something a little more sinister!
UNIQUE EVENTS
Some players even take it upon themselves to host their own events. Such as club nights, street racing, award ceremonies and more! The possibilities are endless, and it's down to you to make it happen. We believe our community is a very energetic and lively one and our player base is actively high with creative roleplayers who are constantly developing new stories and new events for you to get involved with!
WEAPONS
There has also been outstanding and recent changes to the weapon system on True Roleplay. Established and official factions now receive the ability to obtain a weapons factory. Players within the faction can arrive at the factory and begin to build and assemble weaponry. These weapons can then be used within the faction or alternatively, you are able to sell them on to players for extra profit.
DEATHMODE
Unlike other servers, True Roleplay has a 'deathmode'. When you are in deathmode you are frozen in place and given a red name tag, so that the other players can see that you are in incapacitated. You are then able to be dragged by other players to safety which gives time for medics to come and operate on you. However if you find yourself being operated on within the hospital, it doesn't necessarily mean you have a 100 percent chance of survival. There is a slight chance you may die, even if you have received medical attention (depending on what weapon you were wounded with).
